Echo

In some shooting ranges, the Octopodd may occasionally detect multiple shots due to echo.
This can lead to errors in shot counting, but there are two simple ways to address the issue:

In the “Settings” tab, you can increase the dead time value. This is the delay during which a new shot cannot be registered immediately after the previous one. It helps filter out unwanted echoes.

If you’re using an Octopodd V3 (or a later version), you also have the option to adjust the shot detection sensitivity, also in the “Settings” tab. Lower sensitivity helps reduce the detection of reflected sounds.
