In some shooting ranges, the Octopodd may sometimes detect multiple shots due to echo. This phenomenon can cause errors in shot counting, but there are two simple solutions to address it:
In the "Settings" tab, you can increase the dead time value: this is the delay during which a new shot cannot be registered immediately after the previous one. This helps filter out unwanted echoes.
If you are using an Octopodd V3 (or later version), you also have the option to adjust the shot detection sensitivity, also in the "Settings" tab. A lower sensitivity reduces the detection of bounce sounds.
